(a) Responsible to: Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Team leader
(b) Responsible for Service Users
(c) Working Hours: 0 to 40Hrs (Flexi Time including weekends and bank holidays (d)Salary Range: From £11.60ph
(e) Preferred Qualifications: QCF Award, Care Certificate, N.V.Q Level 2 or willing to work towards
(f) Essential Experience:   Minimum 1 year Experience of Working with adults with learning disability/challenging needs. Desirable: D1 driving license.

Job Summary (Description of main purpose of job):

As a Support Worker you will be required to promote the independence of the people, we support by pro-actively creating new ways to improve the quality of a person’s life by following carefully tailored support plans. Contribute to support plans, menus, Key worker meetings, SU reviews and other duties that come with support within a Key working role. Attend and participate in regular staff meetings and Supervision. Provide personal care if appropriate. Maintain safe environment for service user. If applicable to drive the Company Vehicle. Comply with CQC national minimum care standards. Attend training and staff meetings.
