Respite Care Services

Did you know that we provide respite care at all of our services?

Sahdat recently spent some time at our Sahara Lodge and Gardens service.  During the time that he spent with us, particular highlights were the daily activities in our on-site day centre and trips out such as the day spent at the local museum at Valence House. Sahdat thoroughly enjoyed attending our ‘Celebration of Cultures’ event at Sahara House and had a stroke of luck on that day and won a great prize in our charity raffle! Both residents and staff were sad to say farewell to Sahdat and they presented him with a home made cake and gifts that they had made in our on-site day centre that included some photographs to keep as a memory of his time with us. Sahdat said that he was very sad to leave but hopes he can return again to Sahara Lodge and Gardens in the future.
