Employee of the Quarter – Frederik

Fred has been an integral member of our Maintenance team for several years now and has demonstrated his commitment and dedication to Sahara Care and the people that we support over that time.

As well as managing maintenance across our services on a day-to-day basis, he also supports us out of hours and even took our emergency calls when he was unable to work due to an injury.

Fred has a complete understanding of how urgent some matters can be when you are supporting people in the residential home setting and no job is too big or too small for him.

He takes pride in setting up rooms when new residents move in, making sure that their personal space is fresh and how they would like it. This makes all the difference to a service user who is experiencing a major change in their lives.

In his daily activities, Fred supports our values of Individuality and Choice and he is clearly valued by the whole staff team and the people that we support.

We are so grateful to Fred for all that he does for Sahara Care and our residents.
