Our special birthday girl!

Elaine is the first resident that Sahara Care welcomed through our doors all those years ago in 1998.

Over the years, Elaine has enjoyed many holidays.  Her favourite destination so far was a Mediterranean cruise where she visited Portugal and Spain.

Elaine also attends our on-site Day Centre where she has  helped  with and attended many of our events, including our MacMillan Coffee Morning, where she helped to make cakes to sell for the charity.

Elaine loves singing and is the first to grab the microphone when we have a karaoke evening. Her favourite group is Abba and we are currently planning a theatre trip for her to see the musical!

Elaine celebrated her 60th birthday at the beginning of the month. She thoroughly enjoyed a lovely weekend with her family.  We organised a little party for her when she returned to the service so that she could celebrate with staff and friends, who treasure her dearly .
