Leading care provider Sahara Care has been shortlisted at this year’s Lang Buisson Awards – one of the most prestigious care industry accolades.
The group, which has a number of homes in east London and Essex, is a finalist in the Care Pathways Award, which recognises care providers that are at the forefront of new practices and approaches to improve outcomes and the quality of life for people in care.
Sahara has been shortlisted for its work with people with learning difficulties and complex needs, who thanks to Sahara’s care have shown amazing progress towards living a more independent life.
Sharon Kaur, Managing Director at Sahara Care, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted at this year’s Lang Buisson Awards. It really is a great honour to be recognised by such a prestigious organisation.”
Sahara Care is among seven care firms shortlisted for the Care Pathways Award and they will find out whether they have won at a glitzy awards evening held at the Lancaster Hotel in London on 11 November.
“I hope that the judges will see the wonderful work our care team does and decide that we are deserving of this distinguished accolade,” added Sharon.
