Sahara celebrates CQC granting registration to a new care manager at Parkside home

Sahara Care is delighted to announce that Angela Bacon has been granted a certificate of registration by the Care Quality Commission at its Parkside home.

Angela joined Sahara in May 2014 as deputy of their Parkside home based in Longbridge Road, Barking, having previously joined the care profession in 2010.

Since joining the home, she has been active in running and developing activities including a karaoke club, art therapy sessions and a new day service for the services users, who have a wide range of complex needs.

Angela said: “I am extremely excited to be formally taking on the position of care manager at Sahara Parkside. I have a lot of passion for working with service users, and supporting them to progress, which is what makes the job so rewarding and fulfilling.”

As part of her training Angela has recently undertaken a Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management and Leadership to support her other care qualifications.

Sharon Kaur, Managing Director of Sahara Care, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Angela to the position of care manager at Sahara Parkside.”

“During her time at the home she has proven her commitment to the service users by delivering new and innovative ideas and I would like to wish her the best of luck in her new role.”
