Life-long James Bond fan and Sahara Resident, Ronald Skinner, has celebrated his 78th Birthday by donning a suit and visiting the ‘Bond in Motion’ exhibition at the London Film Museum in Covent Garden.
Ronald has been a big fan of James Bond since his childhood and has watched all of the 26 movies that make up the famous spy saga.
During the trip he got to learn more about his favourite James Bond actor, Sean Connery and the famous cars that he drove.
Bond in Motion is the official exhibition of James Bond vehicles and is the largest display of its kind ever to be staged in London.
Having enjoyed the exhibit Ronald, supported by the care team at Sahara, went for a meal in London before returning home to share his stories with his friends and fellow service users.
Terrence Brown, Chairman of Sahara Care, said: “Ronald is a larger than life character and is well-loved by everyone at Sahara Care. I am delighted that he was able to live out his dream of being Bond at this wonderful exhibition in London.
“Days out like this are an important part of the care that we offer to our residents and lets them interact and enjoy their various passions, as well as offer them the chance to experience new things.”
